Recent Ice Storm & Power Outages in the Greater Toronto Area

The recent and ongoing power disruption has affected many individuals and families and we were no exception.  The power went out here at 2:00 a.m. December 21 and was restored on December 23 at 11:30 p.m.  Approximately 45 hours without electricity tested our preparedness, strength and will.  Hopefully with the recent warmer temperatures the ice will melt but high winds for the next couple of days may see more disruption.

My apologies if I do not respond immediately but I will make every attempt to reply to everyone as soon as possible.

Kudos go to the men and women who have given up their vacations and time to help restore the power in all the affected areas.
